WHAT IS THIS WORKSHOP ALL ABOUT —
AND WHAT WILL IT DO?

Overcoming self-sabotage is the FIRST STEP in me helping you get what you want in life. Most people can take it from there.

Yes, self-sabotage.

That eerie moment when everything is going well — the job interview, the new relationship, the health kick — and then, out of nowhere, you do something that wrecks it. You don’t show up. You overreact. You shut down. You spend money you don’t have.

On the outside, it looks like “bad luck.”
On the inside, it feels like weakness or laziness.
But in truth, it’s neither.

What you’ve just witnessed was self-sabotage in action.

 

But do you realize WHAT YOU CAN HAVE in your life if you remove this one obstacle?

Consider this seriously.

What is your goal? To stop the fights at home? To finally get that promotion at work? Get the kids to listen? Get the body of a rock star? Retire on a beautiful island? Think about it – regardless of the area of life where your current focus may be, and regardless of the scale of what you want to see happen, dream with me a little. If you could have what you want right now, what would it be?

And the next question, of course, is this: why aren’t you there yet?

Have you not TRIED? I bet you have.

But look: we all have all the resources equally available to all of us. Why is it, then, that some people succeed in the above goals, while others keep HOPING to get there SOME DAY? (And don’t give me the old, “well, some people are born to a rich family, etc.”. Most millionaires that I can name today started with nothing – that same Bill Gates, for example. And the same is even more true when it comes to relationships, health and other spheres of life – just stop and take a good look)

And while some people are indeed bored stupid, this is not the case for most of us. So, this leaves us with just one possible answer: self-sabotage.

Do you realize that if we were to remove this obstacle out of the way anything that you ever dreamed about could become a reality for you?  If you had a step-by-step blueprint how to achieve it, wouldn't that be the ultimate solution? 

 

 MAKE YOUR WISH: IT’S TIME TO MAKE IT COME TRUE FOR YOU!

You see, most coaching problems always tend to have one of these 3 problems, IMHO:

1. They tell you what's wrong with you, but not how to correct it 

2. They tell you how to correct it -- but in theory, with no consideration of how in the heck you’re going to be able to implement the solution (The classic examples are the advice to fit a two-hour gym commitment into your schedule that already includes a full time job, a hideous commute and single parenting responsibilities and does not allow you to take as much as 15 minutes for yourself, right before bedtime – or “just saying no” to your partner, who you know darn well will take this “no” as a personal insult and spiral down from there)

3. They don't track or measure the results: as long as you’re “feeling better”, we’re golden.

 

Well, the main difference of transformational coaching and therapies is that the goal here is not to simply make you FEEL better – it’s to help you BE better.

The main difference about transformational success coaching is that it does not give you a list of things to do in order to do something better -- it helps you experience the difference. (For example, general anger management will teach you how to NOT kill the person in front of you when they have pissed you off, while transformational approach will look into the mechanisms of how to help you not fall for their triggers in the first place. OR,  as another example, if your husband tends to be dismissive and condescending when he’s drunk, traditional approaches will teach you to set boundaries or even simply tell you to get out of this relationship (again, with no consideration of how doable it is, for many of women who cannot afford this financially) – TRANSFORMATIONAL approaches will show you how to change the dynamic of your relationship so that he starts treating you like a queen and even quits drinking for the sake of keeping you.)

There are the main differences of the approach – briefly highlighted. And then there are further nuances, of course, than keep most of us hesitant when it comes to the idea of any kind of life-changing coaching therapy: having to confide in the perfect stranger, the uncomfortable idea of discussing some very sensitive issues, the scheduling conflicts that come with the commitment to the appointments or live sessions --  and of course cost:  the endless follow-up appointments that start to feel like a money-milking operation, with no end in sight.

How the Workshop Works:

    • In Person: If you live in the area and prefer the in-person atmosphere, join us for an hour at Salmon Creek Library, Thursdays at 3:30 pm (starting October 9)

    • Online Brown-Bag Lunch: Tuesdays at 12:00 pm (starting October 14) – the general content will duplicate the in-person meeting, but it’s different every time, with different people. Feel free to join both sessions, if you want

  • Each session includes:

    • A 20-minute presentation that cuts through surface explanations and gets to the root mechanisms.

    • Mind-mapping diagnostics that lay your sabotage out on paper, in front of your own eyes.

    • Targeted 1-on-1 Q+A, where you bring your “Why do I keep doing this?” moments and get answers.

    • Self-therapy tactics that you’ll practice in real life between sessions.

  • Between sessions: You’ll keep momentum alive with journals, exercises, and affirmations that reprogram the reflexes instead of just covering them up. We will also continue the discussion in an online group, where we can take up questions that arise as you’re doing your home assignments.

  • The twist: This isn’t a workshop about vague “personal growth.” You’ll bring one real problem — maybe the friendship you keep ghosting, the business idea you’ve been “about to launch” for three years, the relationship you keep torching with defensiveness. You’ll work that pattern across the four weeks until it starts to crack.

CURRICULUM:

In this workshop, we’ll talk about how to achieve success (i.e. the outcome that you need) in these 4 main areas of life:

·       Friendships

·       Money

·       Personal growth and achievement

You will receive a general blueprint of how to solve problems of that nature in general – but we will also be taking your specific goal and applying this blueprint to helping you solve your specific challenge.

 

Week 1 — Unmasking the Dragons

Why am I like this? Why do I keep doing X?
We’ll strip those questions of their mystery and you will be able to see the picture of  what self-sabotage looks like in your life as though someone has taken an X-ray.

You’ll discover:

  • The 3 Dragons of Self-Sabotage

    • Childhood Trauma: the dragon that casts a spell on you, forcing you to see life through it’s different masks of rejection, abandonment, betrayal, humiliation, or injustice.

    • Mental Blockages: the dragon that locks you in the dungeon, exiling parts of your personality to the shadows.

    • Negative Programming: the dragon that spits fire, gaslighting you into mistaking chains for safety and literally burning the bridges and the opportunities in your path.

  • The Dirty Windshield Pattern — why your path looks blurred and luckless, when in fact the glass itself is smeared.

  • A reset exercise designed to calm, un-fog, and start re-aligning you before the next week’s deeper descent.

Week 2 — Meeting The Dragon that casts the spell on you: Childhood Trauma

Imagine walking through life with tinted glasses you didn’t know you were wearing. Every interaction, every opportunity, every relationship passes through the filter of a mask you picked up in childhood: rejection, abandonment, betrayal, humiliation, or injustice.

This week, we confront the first dragon — the Spellcaster — who whispers: “This is just how the world works.”

  • You’ll learn how these five masks warp your perception, turning neutral moments into painful déjà vu.

  • We’ll run your chosen sabotage pattern through each mask. Does it look like rejection? Betrayal? Abandonment? You’ll be shocked at which lens fits too well.

 

Week 3 — The Contradictions Map – or the Dragon that keeps you in the dungeon

Inside you live opposing forces: ambition and fear, desire and shame, trust and suspicion.
The dragons thrive in that conflict.

This week you will:

  • Trace the unity and conflict of opposites inside yourself.

  • See how contradictions feed the sabotage loop.

  • Map the cycle visually, so your own mind stops being a blur and starts becoming a pattern you can recognize.

  • Meet the second dragon: The Dragon that keeps you in the dungeon

 

Ever wonder why you can’t speak up in conflict? Or why you “freeze” when you know you should act? That’s the Jailer at work — the dragon who locks whole parts of your personality away in the dungeon.

This week, we break into the dungeon.

  • We’ll explore how certain parts of you — the bold one, the tender one, the intuitive one — were exiled long ago because they were “too much,” “too risky,” or “not allowed.”

  • You’ll test your sabotage situation against the Jailer’s work: which part of you was locked away the moment sabotage struck?

Week 4 — The Dragon that Spits Fire: The Gaslighter who uses Negative programing

This dragon doesn’t hide. It roars. It spits fire made of lies that sound so familiar, you’ve mistaken them for truth.

“If you are kind, people will accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives”
“What I think or feel doesn’t really matter”
“If I say no, this means I only think about myself”

These lines are the script the Gaslighter runs in your head.

This week, we hold those statements up to the light.

  • You’ll trace the exact lines the Gaslighter uses to sabotage your chosen situation — and see how precise they are.

  • We’ll decode how those lines became your “truth,” even though they were planted by someone else long ago.

Week 5 — The Dirty Windshield: Clearing the Blur

Picture this: You’re driving down the highway. The car is fine, the road is open — but the windshield is filthy. You lean forward, squint, maybe crack the window to stick your head out. You go slow, miss turns, second-guess every lane change.

That’s what sabotage looks like when the problem isn’t trauma or programming — it’s simply lack of visibility.

In other words: you don’t know how to do the thing you’re trying to do. You don’t have the skill, the system, or the framework. And because you can’t see the road, you move painfully slow, or you stall altogether.

This week, we turn our attention to this often-overlooked cause of self-sabotage: not knowing enough, not having the right tools, or never being shown the map.

  • We’ll explore how many of your “failures” weren’t failures at all — they were situations where you tried to sprint blindfolded.

  • We’ll take your specific sabotage pattern and ask: is the road blocked by trauma, programming, or simply missing knowledge?

  • You’ll learn how to identify when you need healing versus when you just need a better system.

 

Week 6 — Meeting the Self You’ve Hidden

By now, the dragons are less mythical and more familiar. And in the cracks they leave behind, someone begins to appear: your true self.

This final week is about action. You take the specific sabotage you brought into this workshop — and you dismantle it.

  • De-sabotage the exact pattern that’s been running you.

  • Build a personalized reset strategy you can re-use on future sabotage attempts.

  • Experience what it feels like to move from reaction to authorship of your own story.
